Established in 1956, previously known as St Pats, we became the Ramsgate Rams in 1976 and have enjoyed sponsorship from the Ramsgate RSL Memorial Club for many years. In 2022 we fielded teams in Auskick (3-8 years program), U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 and U15 age groups, including girls teams in U10, U12 and U14s.
Our club philosophy and culture is based on participation, development, fun and friendships. Ramsgate Rams prides itself on being a family club, and ensuring players of all experience and skill levels are given fantastic opportunities to develop their skills.
We have highly skilled coaches, most of whom have played AFL themselves and hold at least an AFL Level 1 Coaching Accreditation. Our volunteers are Working With Children Checked, and some are first aid trained who along with St John's Ambulance ensure there is first aid coverage at all games. Together these skills and experience help us to ensure you enjoy your time at Ramsgate Rams AFL.

Ramsgate Junior AFL Club is run by volunteers, with community members and parents working together to deliver a fun and safe environment for our members. Some roles require an annual commitment, while others can be done on a weekly/ by round basis.
Some roles require an active Working With Children Check (WWCC), which you can apply for through Service NSW and by validating your ID at your nearest Service NSW Office.
While some roles such as Coaching staff and Team Manager require dedicated support for the season, most other roles are casual and can be arranged on the day or via a roster with your Team Manager
