Welcome to the next step in your football journey

At Ramsgate Rams Junior AFL, we’re proud of our grassroots foundation and excited about the opportunities that await our youth players as they step into senior football. Our pathway is built in partnership with the St George Dragons AFC, the premier senior club in southern Sydney.

Why the St George Pathway matters

The St George Dragons are the only Premier Division club in southern Sydney, playing at the highest level of AFL in our region.
They play their home games at Olds Park, Penshurst, offering strong facilities and an established senior environment.
This means that as a Rams junior, you have a clear route into senior footy: grow here, develop your game, and when you’re ready, continue your career with one of the region’s top senior clubs.

What the pathway looks like for you

Junior development at Ramsgate: Focus on skill building, teamwork, fitness and love of the game.
Bridge into senior readiness: As you move through U16s and U18s you’ll be introduced to senior training sessions, club culture and expectations.
Transition to St George Dragons: When you meet the standards in football ability, attitude and commitment, you’ll be eligible to join the Dragons’ senior teams and continue your journey in the top tier.
Beyond the club: With the strong reputation of St George, there’s even the possibility of exposure to higher level opportunities within NSW and across Australia.
